Woodstock United's Recreational Soccer Program is designed to encourage all forms of athleticism and is positioned as an affordable option for athletes who are Serious About Soccer. Not every athlete will go on to play competitively nor will they choose soccer as their sole sport focus. That's OK! When learning about soccer is fun, athletes develop a lifelong love for sport and physical activity.

The Recreational Program is dedicated to developing athletes who are interested in the sport into quality soccer players. The goal of Woodstock United is to make soccer "Seriously FUN" for everyone! All eligible athletes are invited to participate.

Athletes can expect to learn:

• an introduction to the sport of soccer in a positive, nurturing environment
• physical movements related to soccer
• parts of the soccer field
• rules of the game
• language of the game
• strategy of the game
• how to be a good team member
• how to engage in healthy competition
• how to win and lose gracefully
